Airi•gam•i
(\'er-?-'gä-me\ n : the art of folding
air) stands at the crossroads of three ancient art
forms: sculpture, puppetry and origami. Artist Larry
Moss has been using airigami to create "full-blown"
installations that enchant both young and old for
more than 13 years, and – whether it's a ten-room
haunted house Balloon
Manor, the world's first piloted balloon
sculpture (Fantastic Flying Octopus) or a pre-historic
museum exhibition Elastic
Park– they bring people together in
the way that only the best public art installations
can.
Sally became intrigued with this self-proclaimed
“airigamist” while still a reporter for
R News, and became his publicist in 2006. A world-renowned
balloon artist, Larry attracted even more acclaim
after Sally's efforts earned him an international
AP story, multiple CNN Headline appearances, a PBS
feature, appearances on the Martha Stewart and Today
Shows, and national network TV news coverage. Of course,
Larry is a publicist's dream as he's always up to
something incredible! |
